Hello, welcome to the Miscellany, Gift Items, Special Items and Local Artists section. Click on one of the three categories below to browse through our selection of prints and other works listed under that heading.

  • Miscellany: Many woodblock prints have been placed under this heading because they have special characteristics that have set them apart from the other woodblocks. Hokusai's famous "100 Views of Fuji" is one that was done in book form.

  • Gift Items: Some antiques we have collected over the years which we weren't able to sell at our San Francisco location, are showcased here are our site. Now we are offering hand-made Japanese wooden tea sets made in the early Showa period (c.1910).

  • SPECIALS: This is a collection of Yoshitoshi's 100 Views Of The Moon series printed by Matsura & Co. These are high quality reproductions of the original woodblock prints, specially created for Tokaido Arts. Unlike other reproductions, these weren't processed through color enhancement. These pieces were printed as closely to the exact color of the original print as possible to accentuate and preserve the natural color of the papers and inks that were used for the original print so that you can enjoy the print as it was intended.

  • Local Artists:
Rowland Salley Watercolors: Showcasing now are watercolors done by Rowland Salley, also the bassist for the Chris Isaak Band. If you are interested in purchasing a print from this artist, click the orders tab on the homepage or email us at TokaidoArts.com.
