Toshi Yoshida, "Kilimanjaro, Cloudy Day"
Pickup currently unavailable
Toshi Yoshida's "Kilimanjaro, Morning" was produced in 1977 and is one of his most popular woodblock prints when originally issued. Following the success of this design, Toshi created two variants of his 1977 original showing Africa's largest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, one in the evening and one of a cloudy day. In this cloudy day variant, Kilimanjaro majestically looms over herds of water buffalo and zebra. The detail in the mountain and landscape is incredible, as are the clouds which gives this spectacular design a truly ethereal mood.
