The works depict the Japanese garden of the Carr family, which they named \"Shiho-en\" meaning that its beauty can be appreciated from all directions. One design would be issued per year as Christmas cards sent to family and friends, and up to seven designs are said to have been completed, with five more only in proof form. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"352\" data-start=\"0\"\u003eThis first design in this print series shows the tea house at Shiho-en, surrounded by a complex water feature, various garden statues, and stone lanterns. The lush and vibrant garden offers a welcome retreat for any visitor. The print is sold with its original folder (10\" x7\") and the print was detached from its mounting.
