Elizabeth Keith, "Wayside Bridge, Peking"
Pickup currently unavailable
Arcing over a lazy river, a large stone bridge in Peking (Beijing) is shown busy with traveling locals and patrons inside restaurants lining the bridge's walkway. In the foreground a family gets ready to settle in on the banks for a picnic. A charming work by Elizabeth Keith showing old, pre-war Beijing long lost to modernization. Precisely detailed throughout with a wonderful soft palette of colors.
