Toshi Yoshida, "One Day in East Africa, No. 10"
Pickup currently unavailable
One of Toshi Yoshida's greatest artistic endeavors were his drawings of his trip to Africa in 1973. In addition to producing a children's book of illustrations, Toshi produced a large series of works documenting the continent's landscape and animals. His "One Day in East Africa" series consists of 10 large designs showing both predator and prey in motion. In this rare design, we see two lions ominously stalking their prey and calculating their next move. Expertly printed throughout, the composition and choice of colors are earthly and mesmerizing.
