Tsuchiya Koitsu, "Nezu Shrine"

Nezu Shrine was established in 1705 and is one of the oldest temples in Tokyo. In this serene design by Koitsu, Nezu Shrine is shown at night in a light snow fall with two lone figures. A wonderfully atmospheric palette and composition.
