Elizabeth Keith, "Moonlight, Soochow (Suzhuo)"
Pickup currently unavailable
Located west of Shanghai, Soochow (Suzhou) is set along a major trade route in China and an important center of foreign trade and commerce. In this spectacular work by Elizabeth Keith, a ferry offloads passengers along a canal in Soochow on a clear moonlit night. The deep blue palette is interrupted sparingly by the glowing lights inside the buildings surrounding the canal. Intricately detailed throughout.
