Shin-Hanga
Hasui Kawase, "Yumoto Spa, Nikko"
Pickup currently unavailable
Located next to Lake Yunoko in Nikko National Park, the onsen of Yumoto are shown on a clear, quiet evening. Spots of light from the onsen village on the banks provide spots of color in the design, while a tree in the foreground helps place the viewer in the scene as if they were standing on the banks of the lake. A marvelous composition of a rare piece.
