Kawarazaki Shodo, "Orchids"

The Kyoto-based painter and printmaker Kawarazaki Shodo worked with Kyoto publisher Unsodo and produced a number of floral themed woodblock prints. True to life with a rich palette of colors, Shodo's print's are simple yet expressive and cheerful. In this first-edition print fully bloomed orchids hover above buds with leaves.
