Japan's sacred mountain is shown looming over a large grove of trees. The gold in the sky is subdued yet luminescent and Mt. Fuji's splendor is on full display. A rare and very early work by Hajime Namiki.

Namiki Hajime (1947 - ) is internationally recognized for his colorful and elegant woodblock prints incorporating gold and silver mica leafing throughout his designs. His compositions and prints reflect the artist's love of nature, especially of trees.
