Tokaido Arts purchases Japanese woodblock prints and other fine Asian arts from private collections and estates. We also consign works in our gallery. To expedite this, please send us an email along with photos of your items to info (at) tokaidoarts.com. For large size files, please send through a file sharing link (e.g. Google, Dropbox). Photos do not need to be high resolution or highly detailed, but should show the entire work (i.e. including paper edge and verso).

Tokaido Arts charges a fee for official appraisals for insurance and estate planning purposes. We cannot provide informal valuations or identification of works.

In most instances, an official appraisal requires us to view the works in person for the most accurate valuation. Appraisals include basic information such as artist, title, date of publication, edition (where applicable), size, publisher, and current market value, and clients will receive both a hard and soft copy of valuations.
