Hasui Kawase, "Konjikido in Snow"
Pickup currently unavailable
Konjikido sits at the heart of the Chuson-ji Temple complex in Iwate Prefecture. This woodblock print is Hasui Kawase's last design. The lone figure ascending the stairs in the design can be said to represent Hasui's final journey in life. This scarce woodblock print comes from a later edition printing from the original woodblocks.
