Shin-Hanga
Hasui Kawase, "Lakeside Shower, Matsue"
Pickup currently unavailable
Lake Shinji sits in Shimane Prefecture and is the seventh largest in Japan. The Shimane Peninsula to the north, and the Izumo and Matsue plains to the west and east comprise the lakes banks. Here we see a man navigating a boat during a downpour. The rainclouds looming in the sky give way to the silhouette of Izumo far in the distance.
