This unusual and striking composition shows the approach to Nagata Shrine in Kobe from the Yakumo Bridge on a snowy day. A rare masterpiece by Hasui Kawase, the work is beautifully printed with bokashi throughout and the red of the temple grounds contrasting against a rich white snow.
