Intricate detailing throughout this print of Ninna-ji temple. Famous for the late-blooming omuro cherry trees on its grounds, the Ninna-ji Temple is in Kyoto. Printed by Hiroshi Yoshida himself (jizuri seal), the print is also signed in both pencil and brush by the artist.

Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950) is regarded as one of the most important shin-hanga period artists and often carved and printed his own works. His landscapes of Japan are known throughout the world, as are his prints of other countries such as Europe, the United States, and South Asia.
