    Komori Soseki, "Goldfish"

    $0.00

A contemporary of Ohara Koson, Komori Soseki produced a number of kacho-e (nature prints) that rivaled his peer in terms of design and detail. Here two Ryukin Goldfish swim amidst a pond reflecting the needles of a pine tree hanging overhead.

    Date: 1929
    Size: Mitsugiri (approx. 7” x 15”)
    Publisher: Kawaguchi and Sakai
    Condition: Fine/excellent color and condition
    Suggested Mat/Frame Size: 14" x 22" (not shown)

Komori Soseki (active 1920's and 1930s) is a lesser know artist whose kacho-e works are highly distinguished for their printing quality and exquisite design.
