Komori Soseki, "Leaping Carp"

A contemporary of Ohara Koson, Komori Soseki produced a number of kacho-e (nature prints) that rivaled his peer in terms of design and detail. The carp is finely detailed, and the wake left in the water by the carp is beautifully printed.
