Horyuji Temple in Nara is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and was built by Prince Shotoku of Japan's Asuka period in the 7th century. Here the five-tier pagoda at Horyuji is shown on a rainy, overcast day. The printing of the sky is especially noteworthy.
