Tsuchiya Koitsu, "Sengakuji Temple, Takanawa"

Sengakuji Temple was established in the early 17th century and is the site of the burial of the famed 47 Ronin. In this moody work, visitors are drawn to the light as they enter the temple on rainy evening.
