Tokyo's Zojoji Temple was established in its current location in the 16th century by Tokugawa Ieyasu. A popular subject for many Japanese woodblock print artists, Koitsu shows the temple during snowfall and framed by the grounds' snow covered trees. A rare, early edition printing.
